FIRST EVER WINTER ATTEMPT OF THE ENGLISH CHANNEL
In December 2019, Sam will attempt a crossing of the English Channel. This will be the first time that anyone has attempted to swim the Channel in winter. If successful, Sam will get the record for the latest swim which currently stands at 3 November. Asked by most, Sam will wear only a pair of Speedo's, goggles and swim cap. Sam is excited to be appointed Ambassador for Just Like Jack. This not-for-profit organisation provides equipment such as running chairs so that kids with significant disabilities can be involved in events like fun runs and marathons.
