She's only 17 but has already swum the English Channel in 2018. Now she's lining up to swim a Double in July 2019! Yes, over and back in one go. 68km a constant swimming. About 24hours in total. What makes this 17year old tick? I just had to ask so I got her in to the Chest Freezer to find out.

I was not expecting to be front page news! Not the headline, the photo. The photo and the headline are not related. I promise! I am supporting the upcoming Solstice Swim on the Sunshine Coast. It is such a beautiful time of year and races from 500m to 5km means there's a challenge for everyone. I used this as part of my English Channel prep last year. This year it's about seeing how my speed is going as that is what I have been working on at Kawana Aquatic Centre. Fingers crossed it's improved! I can tell you that the kids have been slaughtering me.
I was lucky to be interviewed for The Antitoxin Podcast about my English Channel crossing in 2018, but also my epic double crossing in 2020. To listen to the podcast, click one of these links. Please subscribe to Ant Moorhouse's podcast because there will be plenty of great interviews coming up. I have realised that my crossing last year has taught me that, with the right planning, anything is possible. But more importantly, the right WHY will get you out the door everytime you feel like quitting. Hope you enjoy the listen.
