The ultimate pick-me-up book

A couple of months ago my four year old asked me to read a Dr Seuss book called "Oh, the places you'll go!" As an entrepreneur, this is seriously one of the most inspiring, get-back-on-your-feet books I have ever read.

As an entrepreneur there are big highs and massive lows. Ebb & flow. Yin & Yang. Sweet & Sour. The longer you spend as an entrepreneur, the emotional roller coaster doesn't get any easier. Time just teaches us to repress our outward emotions. Everyday something will disappoint and something will thrill you.

If you are at the low point of your roller coaster, read this book. Even if you don't have kids, read this book. It's fun to read, but by the end, everything is in perspective and you realise that this is merely part of the entrepreneurial emotional cycle that you are on.

Smile. :)
