When you meet someone who loves their job, their enthusiasm is contagious. It often makes you smile. Why do they love it? Because they are doing the things they LOVE TO DO. And think of all those people who hate their job; they look unhappy, it reflects badly on the business but also it makes you feel crappy and less likely to come back. They hate it because they are doing the things they HATE TO DO.
Your challenge is to work out what people love and what people hate and get them doing more love and less hate.
"More love and less hate"
This is the basis of the work/life balance. Love your work, love your health, love your food.
The "more love, less hate" mantra can be carried through to your health. Just think of exercise as a great example that is loved by many and hated by more. We "hate" exercise because we just haven't found what we love. I hate running. I can do it, but hate it. Because I hate it, I don't do it. I know it's good for me, but the hate is greater than the benefit. I love cycling, so I do that.
What are your loves? Now do more of them because then you'll love your life even more.
