Thanks for coming to my blog. Everything that you will find on here is my opinion on various subjects from the health industry to entrepreneurship and will hopefully help you to ask questions. I am passionate about several things and I love to write about them.

A bit of my background; I spent three years at The Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra studying Civil Engineering which I later completed at QUT in Brisbane. After just 18months as an Engineer I became the IT manager for a mid-sized construction firm.

I later commenced my MBA at QUT's Brisbane Graduate School of Business majoring in entrepreurship, marketing and finance. Whilst studying my MBA I created QUT Entrepreneur, a network of over 2,000 entrepreneurs which allowed me to present entrepreneurship as a viable career opportunity and remove many of the barriers that face business start-ups.

On completion of my MBA, I took a contract role with the Federal Government's AusIndustry to provide government money to the private sector for research and development initiatives up to about $10m.

Following my stint in a government department, I then join my parents in running High Tech Health in 2003. Since that time as CEO, our revenue has averaged a 55% year-on-year growth.

In my spare time, some things I love to do is cycle and race, write articles for Bicycling Australia on the latest bikes available, speak on entrepreneurship and visit the various wine regions of Australia. I love being active, but also love kicking back.
